GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics for Years 9, 10 and 11, Combined and Triple Science, plus Pre-GCSE Science for Years 7 and 8, led by a former Head of Science and a team of qualified teachers and examiners.
Our GCSE Science programme covers every topic and all the required practicals for Combined (Trilogy) and Triple Science. Lessons are planned by examiners, so students learn the key words, the six-mark answer structures and the maths skills that examiners look for, not just the content.
Years 7 to 11
Pre-GCSE classes build confidence in Years 7 and 8 and start GCSE content in Year 9. Year 10 builds strong foundations, and Year 11 sharpens exam technique for mocks and the summer exams.

Her experience as both a teacher and examiner gives students a valuable understanding of not only the subject content they need to master, but how to apply that knowledge effectively in examinations.

Science FAQs
How does the taster lesson work?
Your child joins a normal 2-hour class. The first hour is free, and the second hour is £25 so the first class costs £25 instead of £50. If you decide not to continue, there is nothing more to pay.
Which exam boards do you cover?
AQA, Edexcel (Pearson) and OCR. Our teachers include examiners, so lessons match the exact style of your child's papers.
Do you teach Years 7, 8 and 9?
Yes. On Sunday from 9 to 11am, Years 7 and 8 join our Pre-GCSE Science class and Year 9 has its own group. Year 9 starts the GCSE syllabus, so students begin GCSE content early with a teacher who knows the exams.
Do you cover the required practicals?
Yes. We teach every required practical: the method, the variables, how to process results and the questions examiners ask about them.
Do you teach Combined Science or Triple Science?
Both. We teach Combined Science (Trilogy) and Triple (Separate) Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Foundation and Higher tier.
Which class should my child join?
Years 7 and 8 join our Pre-GCSE class on Sunday from 9 to 11am, and Year 9 has its own group at the same time. Year 10 students join the Sunday 11am class, and Year 11 students choose the Sunday 1pm or 3pm class. The Wednesday 4:30pm class is open to Years 10 and 11. Our Wednesday 2:30pm class is for Years 9, 10 and 11 from Upton Grammar School and home-educated students.
Can my child catch up if they miss a lesson?
Yes. Students have 24/7 access to our online learning hub with lesson recordings, revision resources and practice questions.
Are classes face to face or online?
Both. Classes run face to face at our centre in Langley, Slough and can be joined live online.
